With a completed animal holding ward, we will be able to alleviate some of the burden on our partner shelters. They often find themselves overcrowded and underfunded, which leads to an incredible amount of stress on both humans and animals. Safe Hands will be able to accept animals right away...no waiting. Often just a few hours can mean the difference between life and death for dogs and cats in this region as they frequently come to us in dire need; skin and bones, ill or injured, about to give birth or just new born..

$100,000 is what it will cost us to create a safe space to care for animals before they make the trip up north. We can heal their bodies and souls until they’re on our transport van and brought into the arms of their loving fosters and finally forever families.
