This family of dogs, dubbed ‘The Mine Dogs’ were living at an abandoned mine.  They were hungry, worried and weary from the struggle to survive.  We knew they needed help.  Their rescue is a story of fortitude, perseverance, of overcoming the odds and bridging time and distance.

Yellow Boy came home first,  He was home with our Executive Director from the moment he was rescued. Jack, Martin, and Lexie were captured a few months later. They’d been together so long, their bond so strong, we needed to keep them together.  They were all adopted by a truly amazing couple.  And finally…after a year alone on the mountain… Henry came home.  Reunited with Yellow Boy, he’s home to stay.  You’ll get an update from them all live on our Facebook page!
