Join Safe Hands Rescue for an evening of fine wine tasting for a good cause!

Our Minneapolis-based animal rescue is one-of-a-kind... we take in animals regardless of medical needs because we believe they all deserve a second chance at life. Because we don't turn them away, Safe Hands Rescue spends close to $400,000 each year on medical expenses.

You'll enjoy fine wine and delicious food pairings while learning about some of the special medical cases near and dear to our hearts!

About Safe Hands Rescue
Since 2006 Safe Hands Rescue has saved more than 20,000 companion animals, primarily from rural Appalachia where there are few animal welfare resources and a large population of homeless and unwanted dogs and cats.
We take in animals regardless of medical needs, breed, or age because we believe they all deserve a chance at life. They are first brought to The Safe House, our rescue property in Kentucky, where they receive life-saving medical care, shelter, and food until they're strong enough to make the trip up north where there is a high demand for adoptable pets.
They arrive in Minnesota and are brought to loving foster families where they live until they find their 'forever homes.'
Safe Hands Rescue takes in animals who have nowhere else to go, and often when other rescues are unable to treat them. Whether they are starving, ill, have broken bones, or are so young they need round-the-clock care, we do everything we can to give them a chance to have a happy life and a loving family all their own. Because of this, we spend close to $250,000 each year on major medical costs alone. Please join us for a night of inspirational transformation stories, fine wine and food, and puppy love as we work to raise funds for saving as many animals as we can.

Want a sneak peek at some of the animals we've saved?

Meet Huck. He was so tiny and malnourished that his hair was falling out, and his feet were swollen and too painful for him to bear his weight. He wouldn't have made it much longer on his own. After emergency treatment and lots of love in a foster home, he went to his forever family for the happy ever after he deserves!
